Public consultation meeting over housing development

Written byBY MARK MCKAY

A HOUSING developer has invited South Derbyshire residents to have their say on building plans.

Taylor Wimpey North Midlands will hold a public exhibition at the Woodville Box Club, in High Street, Woodville, from 1pm to 8pm on Wednesday February 13.

Residents and community groups can voice opinions over plans to build houses on land north of Hepworth Road.

Ken Phillips, land and planning director for Taylor Wimpey North Midlands, said: “We understand the importance of giving local people the chance to get involved and have their say on development plans for their community.

“We are confident that this development would not only fulfil a need for more high-quality homes in the local area, but that it would also positively enhance the community for the benefit of everyone.

“Those visiting our public exhibition will be able to speak to the Taylor Wimpey project team to find out more about this scheme, as well as provide us with their valuable feedback.”
