Burton Library will host an exhibition of rugs, textiles, floor coverings and wall hangings until Saturday February 16.
Jane Wood, 54, of Barton, who headed the project, has made rag rugs for 20 years.
She said: “It’s a wonderful hobby which I really enjoy.
“The exhibition is textile work made from recycled materials.
“People give me old clothes and sheets and I use old hanging techniques to create the rag rugs.
“I live on a narrow boat so you have to make rugs that fit the size and shape of the boat.”
