A WEIGHT loss consultant has stopped the snow from putting the freeze on her slimming classes.
Slimming World consultant Caroline Hassent (pictured) has defeated the Arctic conditions to keep the Navigation Inn sessions in Overseal running at 7.30pm on Thursdays.
“For anyone who’s just started their slimming journey and is beginning to see the pounds drop off, getting to the group and being able to share ideas and tips is essential to ongoing success,” said the consultant, who lost 3st as a member.
“So I was determined the weather wouldn’t stop us even though it was difficult to get around.
“For anyone who has resolved to do something about their weight, shutting down support at this key time and letting them go off track early on in their weight loss journey might mean they never get back.
“That’s why it’s so important to make sure the group runs as normal.
“We promise to be with our members every step of the way – and it takes more than snowfall to stop that.”
Group member Tracey Evans, who has lost 2st, said she was grateful for her consultant’s commitment.
She said: “It takes a lot to keep me away every week – and snow won’t stop me.”
