A MINI ninja group has been getting together to raise money for injured soldiers as well as a special garden for a South Derbyshire primary school.
The Newhall Mini Ninjas held its a charity fund-raising event, at The Crown Inn, in Oversetts Road, Newhall, on Saturday.
Entertainment included a bouncy castle, facepainting, tombola and raffle, barbecue, cakes, and adopt a teddy.
Proceeds will be donated to Help for Heroes and will help build a sensory garden for special needs children at Elmsleigh Infant and Nursery School, in Queen’s Drive, Swadlincote.
Help for Heroes was set up to support wounded servicemen and women and their families overcome horrific trauma and achieve their full potential.
The charity has raised millions of pounds and runs four Recovery Centres across the country which form part of the Defence Recovery Capability - a partnership between Help for Heroes, The Ministry of Defence and The Royal British Legion.
