Disgruntled Molson Coors wokers met with Unite union representatives at Burton Town Hall to discuss new conditions the brewing giant has proposed.
The Mail previously reported that some workers could have £9,000 cut from their wages while scores of positions are under the threat of redundancy.
Molson Coors and Unite are currently in the midst of a 90-day consultation period.
On Tuesday Unite regional officer Rick Coyle refused to rule out the possibility of strike action.
He said: “We are ready for strike action if there is not a satisfactory resolution.”
Molson Coors has blamed changing consumer tastes, taxes, the economy and increased market pressure for the measures.
