CARS appear to be sprouting from every nook and cranny in this bird’s eye view of Swadlincote, captured by Mail picture editor Neil Barker.
Their greatest concentration is in the bus station car park off Civic Way, which lies at the heart of the shot.
But they are also visible behind shop units in Market Street, just beyond the six tall spruces, and to the right between the offices of South Derbyshire District Council and Green Bank Leisure Centre.
The car-free Delph is in the top left of the photograph, just above Swadlincote Town Hall and Sir Nigel Gresley pub, with Market Street a branch off its bottom right-hand corner and West Street a spur to the top right.
Swadlincote Health Centre is in the middle at the bottom and Swadlincote Police Station to its right.
Both are home to yet more vehicles.
