EIGHTIES schoolchildren are being invited to relive their youth at ‘the biggest school reunion Burton has ever seen’.
Around 400 people are expected to descend on Burton’s National Brewery Centre this summer, which will hold scores of school reunions all under one roof at an event which will also feature an appearance from two famous faces from 1980s TV.
Grange Hill’s Zammo and Roland, A.K.A Lee MacDonald and Erkan Mustafa, have been booked to appear at the school disco night, which will also feature a stand up comedian and will end with a disco.
Anybody interested in joining the party is urged to book fast with around 100 tickets for the event on June 7 already sold.
The event is the brainchild of Paul Barnett, who teaches karate classes at the brewery centre.
He said that the TV duo were surprisingly easy to contact.
He said: “I contacted them through Facebook. It was a bit surreal talking to them, but they still do a lot of appearances together.”
Tickets cost £12.50 are available from The National Brewery Centre on 01283 532880.
