Homestart feature, Old Posts Centre, Newhall....Tracey HarrisHOME-Start South Derbyshire is currently looking to recruit new volunteers to support families who are not coping as well as they would like.
It has been recruiting and training parent volunteers to support families with young children at home for the past 29 years.
Support may be for a parent or child with a disability, or a mother suffering from post natal depression, for example.
Tracey Harris, manager for Home-Start South Derbyshire, said: “Our volunteers can’t commit to helping for the rest of their lives so we are always looking for volunteers. Even if people don’t want to train as a home visiting volunteer we can always do with help fund-raising, on our management committee, raising our profile or helping at activities.
