SEVERN Trent Water is calling on keen photographers in Burton and South Derbyshire to enter a competition which could see their work featured in the company’s 2014 charity glossy calendar.
The calendar, which will raise money for WaterAid, will feature 12 winning photographs taken at the company’s reservoir visitor sites, across the area.
There will be prizes for all 12 winners and then a grand prize – a holiday – for the overall winner.
Andrew Parsons, head of visitor sites for Severn Trent Water, said: “We have some spectacular views at our visitor sites, so we thought what better way to showcase them than in a calendar. In addition, we wanted to give local photographers the opportunity to see some of their work on display, and all while we try to raise some money for charity.
“The competition is free to enter and people can visit any one of our sites to take photos, or even use one they’ve taken recently.
“Once they have their photo they just need to enter through our website www.stwater.co.uk/photocomp before May 31.”
