RUSH hour delays affected motorists travelling on the A444 in Stapenhill are set to continue for another two weeks.
South Staffordshire Water is currently replacing water mains in Bretlands Way, at the junction with Stanton Road, and one-way traffic lights to help with the work have been causing long tailbacks for motorists using the main road in both directions.
A spokesman for the water company said: “This is part of our mains rehabilitation scheme where we are working to replace pipes in the area when they need replacing.
“The work is mostly done now but will be cleared up by March 29.”
