A 20-YEAR-OLD student will have to fork out more than £4,000 to repair his car after it was damaged by a hit and run driver.
Ford Fiesta owner, Bradley Wilson, of Main Street, Barton-under-Needwood, is hoping witnesses or anyone with information will contact the police following the incident outside his home on Monday at 1.30pm.
He said: “I had just got in the house on Monday when I heard a bang and ran out. I saw a white van driving down the road and a woman was standing outside saying she had seen it happen but couldn’t get the registration number down. It will cost the insurance company £4,500 to repair the car as the wing mirror was ripped off and it will need a new door,”
Anyone with information is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 372 of February 4.
