YOUNGSTERS from Burton and East Staffordshire have spent the summer holidays developing their faith.
About 4,500 young people from the Diocese of Lichfield, which includes Burton, gathered at the Staffordshire County Showground for the annual Soul Survivor event.
The event included five days of exuberant worship, teaching, sport and culture.
Another group of youngsters, including training clergy, were also on hand to provide a safe space, listening ears and cups of water at V Festival, which took place last weekend, at Weston Park, near Telford.
Diocesan director the Rev George Fisher said: “The summer is a great time for many people to take a break from normal routines and refresh themselves physically and spiritually-some through a change, others through resting.”
