A BURTON weightlifter is getting his body in tip-top condition ahead of a world fitness show.
Nick Lewis will compete in the World Beauty and Fitness Federation show at the O2 Indigo Arena, in London on June 1.
The 24-year-old personal trainer, who works at Burton’s Unique Physique gym in Wetmore Road, said he is pushing his body to the limit ahead of the big day.
He said: “I’ve already started to get into good shape and condition again for the competition which is 10 weeks away so I’m hoping that I can get into the best possible condition I can.
“At the moment, my day consists of one hour of morning cardio, followed by an afternoon weights session, then night time cardio and abdominal training.
“I do this for five days a week and spend my weekends relaxing and spending time with the other half or with my mates and family.”
Nick turned to the fitness industry after he returned to the UK from a basketball scholarship in the US when he was younger.
He now runs his own personal training company, ID Training and Nutrition, and also works as a fitness model.
Nick said: “I’m fortunate to have a great bunch of people around me who always support me and keep me on track.”
