PROPOSALS for 450 new homes will be among schemes discussed by North West Leicestershire District Council.
The authority's planning committee will meet on August 5 to review an application to develop a new settlement at Measham Waterside in Burton Road, Measham.
Officials are recommending that councillors approve the plan subject to a number of conditions.
It will not be the only new homes bid to be discussed that day.
Other applications seeking approval at the meeting include a proposal for 20 homes with driveways and parking at land off New Street, Measham, and a scheme to demolish existing buildings at 6 Queen Street in Measham to make way for seven new affordable homes.
Both applications are recommended to be approved subject to certain agreements.
The planning committee will meet at 4.30pm.
