GARY Rowett insisted he was happy despite this afternoon's 1-0 defeat to Southend United.
In what turned out to be a dress rehearsal for the League Two play-off semi-finals, the Brewers went down to a 22nd-minute Barry Corr goal.
But having made five changes to rest players for the coming weeks' crucial double-header against the Shrimpers, Rowett was unconcerned.
"What's important for us is that there wasn't a lot in that game, and that's their strongest side," said the Brewers boss.
"We know we will be stronger so I'm not to disappointed and quite pleased.
"I'm proud of the players - I've just said to them in the dressing room 'you've played 46 games and got in the play-offs, now we've just got two more'."
