GARY Rowett said he was delighted for his Burton Albion players after they earned themselves a trip to Wembley.
The Brewers beat Southend United 3-2 in the League Two semi-final to set up a meeting with Fleetwood Town in the final on Monday, May 26.
Rowett guided the team to the play-offs last season as well, but insisted it was not about personal glory.
"They deserve a place at Wembley," he said.
"I'm proud because it's a culmination of lots of games, but it's not about feeling proud of anything I want to achieve.
"I'm proud for the group.
"The lads are bouncing around with the champagne, but me and my assistant Kev (Summerfield) are absolutely drained.
"Give me a glass of red wine, let me sit down for a little bit and I'll be okay in two hours."
