BELVEDERE Park White beat Alrewas Colts 3-0 to reach the quarter-finals of the BURTON & DISTRICT JUNIOR LEAGUE BRIANMOLE UNDER-1O CUP.

Alex Hodsons brace and a goal from George Allsop saw them comfortably into the last eight.

Clubmates Belvedere Park Red joined them in the quarter-finals but needed penalties to see off Hilton Harriers Flyers after a 1-1 draw.

Cameron Wigley netted for Park, while Humphrey Jacksons goal for Hilton was in vain as his side just missed out in the shoot-out.

Hilton Harriers Jets thumped Whittington Villa 9-0 with goals from Max Peplow (4), Nathan Brown (2), Max Bosley (2) and Daniel Dodd as they chase the league and cup double.

Doveridge, struggling slightly in the second tier of the under-10 league, threw off the shackles with a 4-0 victory over Division One opponents Chellaston Black Sox.

Frankie Bussell, Charlie Land, Lewie Thornton and Callum Wood netted in the surprise win.

Whittington Lasers had an even more surprising win, 5-0 at Hilton Harriers Tornadoes.

Hilton, in the top flight, came unstuck against the Division Two leaders, who are unbeaten this season and favourites for promotion.

Sam Littles hat-trick and goals from the other Sams - Cartwright and Allan-Smith - completed the win.

Belvedere Park Black exited the cup with a 2-0 defeat to TS Sports Hammers.

Nico Ambrose and Ben Prince won it for the Division One leaders in a tough clash with the top side in Division Four, who gave a good account of themselves.

Hatton Sports, from Division Three, saw off Division Two Santos Ravens 4-1. Joseph Hall and Oliver Higgs grabbed a brace apiece, while William Mathews replied for Ravens.

TS Villa looked like they were slipping out, as with four minutes left they trailed Barton Hercules 1-0 after Michael Ainger netted.

But strikes from Harrison Mills, Joe Wheatcroft and Benjamin Fido saw them go through.

BARTON Rovers Spartans got their season really up and running with a 7-2 thumping of Uttoxeter Juniors Grey in the BURTON ALBION UNDER-11 CUP.

Spartans are still seeking their first league win of the season and sit bottom of Division One.

But Division Two strugglers Uttoxeter proved easy pickings as Jack Mathews hit a hat-trick and was joined on the scoresheet by Matt Gates and Anthony OConnell, who grabbed a brace apiece. Harrison Bott and Jay Hughes-Ratcliffe replied for Grey.

Barton will face Mayfield in the quarter-finals after the Ashbourne side beat Riverside Athletic Black 2-0. Matt Wallis and Matt Meakin scored.

Newhall Rams, in Division One, squeezed past Division Two battlers Stretton Eagles 3-2.

Adam Palmer (2) and Oliver Morrell scored for Newhall, while Ethan Mellor and Kane Tisdall netted for Stretton.

Outwoods Eagles, who have just one win this season in Division One, saw off Division Two Uttoxeter Black 2-1 with goals from Nathan Howell and Charlie Kendrick. Kieran Coates hit back for Uttoxeter.

Chellaston Black Sox stuffed Doveridge, the last Division Four side in the cup, 9-0 and will meet Outwoods Eagles in the last eight.

Clubmates Chellaston Red Sox have also reached the quarter-finals after a 1-0 win at Willington Blue.

Division Two leaders Ashby Ivanhoe were brought crashing down to earth in a 7-1 spanking from Division One Tutbury Tigers.

Callum Ball (3), Matt Hughes, Ashley Balmforth, Ethan Deas and Kai Wilson scored for Tigers. Tom Fargher hit back for Ashby.

Belvedere squeezed into the quarter-finals with a 4-3 win at Division Two Whittington Colts.

Nathan Merriman (2), Dan Griffin and Aiden Summers netted for Belvedere. Matt Hurley (2) and Nathan Miles scored for Whittington.
