PLANS for a 14-home development on a former engineering site have been submitted to South Derbyshire District Council.
If successful, the development at the former Clayton Engineering site in Scropton Road, Hatton, would see two blocks put up, each containing six apartments, three of which would be on the ground floor and three above. Parking would be allocated in a front courtyard, including two visitor spaces.
In addition, a two-storey dual aspect semi-detached unit is proposed, with front parking.
The site is currently occupied by derelict office buildings, and a factory with associated outbuildings.
The district council's consultation period opened on July 22 and is due to close on August 12.
