PLANS are underway for this year's Derbyshire Skills Festival.
This year the four-day careers event organised by Derbyshire County council is supported by The Skills Show, the European Social Fund and the National Careers Service.
The event offers young people aged 15-19, including those about to leave school, the chance to receive guidance and information on their options for the future.
More than 70 employers, colleges, training providers and voluntary organisations will have stands at this year's events.
This year there will be events between 3.30pm and 8.30pm at The Roundhouse in Derby on September 16 and 17, The Dome at Buxton on September 23 and Chesterfield's Proact Stadium on September 25.
Young people from across Derbyshire will have the opportunity to talk to experts and there will be 'have-a-go' experiences to get first hand experience of hair and beauty, engineering, construction, manufacturing, sound and visual media activities.
