Police info plea after farm crime

POLICE are appealing for information after burglars broke in to tack room at a farm and stole a number of valuable items which were stored inside.

The offenders forced open a gate leading to a field at the property and then broke in to the tack room by removing the padlocks.

Among the items stolen were 16in and 17in Symonds Saddlery Cambridge GP saddles, two black leather bridles, two Le Miux sheepskin half pads, and two stirrup irons, each with crystal decorations.

The break-in happened at a farm in Clifton Road, Lullington, between midnight and 6.30am on June 23. Anyone with information is urged to call 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
