POLICE have reissued their appeal for information about a teenage girl who has been missing from her home in Swadlincote for two weeks.

Paige Hibbs was last seen in the town on Friday, October 4, but she has not been in touch with family since then.

It is thought she may have been heading towards Derby, and was last seen in the city on Wednesday, October 9.

There have been a number of unconfirmed sightings of the 16-year-old in the last two weeks.

Paige, pictured, is 5ft6in tall, with straight, shoulder-length brown hair.

She has family and friends in the Alvaston and Chaddesden areas of Derby,

Missing person officer PC Tony Wilson said: “There have been a number of potential sightings of Paige in the Derby area since her disappearance, which is encouraging.

“We are following up this information and continuing to work with colleagues from partner agencies to try to find her.

“I would urge Paige, or anyone with information about her whereabouts, to contact us to let us know she is safe.”

An appeal to find Paige has been posted on social networking site Facebook, and has been shared around the UK.

Officers are appealing to Paige to contact them on 101. They would also like to hear from anyone who has seen her or who knows where she is.
