A POPULAR visitor attraction and near Burton has held a poppy picnic as part of a new campaign.

The event at the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas took place as part of the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Picnics campaign.

Pupils from William Allitt School in Newhall were among those invited to take part in the picnic which took place in glorious sunshine showing off the spectacular attraction in all its glory.
