LOYAL Burton Albion fans who purchase earlybird season tickets will see no increase in prices, even if the Brewers win promotion to League 1.

The club has announced a price freeze for existing and new season ticket holders, as long as they commit by Saturday, April 26.

Earlybird season tickets will go on sale from tomorrow. Anyone who buys a season ticket in the earlybird window is guaranteed the lowest prices during 2014/15 – whether the Brewers remain in League 2 or gain pomotion to League 1.

Albion are currently comfortably in the play off zone and are pushing hard for a top three finish which will guarantee automatic promotion.

The earlybird prices see season tickets starting from £255 for adults and £216 for seniors.

The club is also renewing its commitment to keep prices as low as possible for its younger fans.

A young persons season ticket was introduced for 2013/14 and this will be available for the 2014/15 campaign during the earlybird offer period to 17 to 22-year-olds, allowing young supporters the opportunity to watch the Brewers for under £8 per game.

The club is encouraging growth in its young fanbase and will continue to offer supporters aged 12 and under the chance to watch the Brewers for as little as £1.73 per game.

Burton Albion chairman Ben Robinson said: “We have decided once again to freeze our earlybird prices as a reward to the fantastic loyal support the club has received this season.

“Earlier this season we gauged the opinions of our fanbase through an online survey to see how we can improve the club’s matchday experience for existing and new supporters.

“We believe that by freezing the earlybird prices once again we are representing true value for a matchday experience that continues to grow game by game.

“These are exciting times to be a Burton Albion fan and we want to reflect this in our season ticket prices from the senior tickets through to the 12s and under.

“After this season’s success with the young persons category and the 12s and under; which links in with the work we do with the community trust, it is important that we engage with our young fans and encourage the next generation of supporters.”
