A BURTON-based pub company has raised £530 for Sport Relief by organising a series of fund-raising events at their head office.
Staff at Punch Taverns’ Centrum 100 head office organised a tombola, silent auction, and even a Triathlon costing of a sports quiz, hula hoop and giant scaletrix competition in aid of Sport Relief.
Jackie Burn, HR director at Punch, said: “At Punch, we are always looking to support local charities through our Punch Community Promise scheme as well as national causes.
“Our employees have put a lot of time and effort in to make sure there were a range of activities on the day and the Hula Hoop competition was very interesting to watch.
“I am delighted with how much we have raised and I want to congratulate all our teams for their hard work co-ordinating the events and donating to such a worthy cause.
“Since January, we have already donated £1,200 to local causes.”
