Eau de Lacoste Sensuelle

LACOSTE don’t do things by halves.

Last year the perfumery launched Eau de Lacoste which was designed to recreate the feeling of wearing white cotton on the skin on a summer’s day (what, here in England I hear you cry!)

The brand has now launched Eau de Lacoste Sensuelle to recreate the feeling of the evolution from a sunny day to a cool and refreshing evening - and it’s absolutely the perfect scent for when the sun has gone down.

Its heady fragrance opens with vibrant pink pepper and contrasting tart blackcurrant, moving to the elegance of Turkish rose combined with the delicate essence of sweet pea and the new and unique floral scent of gladioli.

The aroma lasts all evening and the sensual fragrance suits perfectly but it’s not just the perfume which is fabulous.

The bottle has been created by designer Christophe Pillet and echoes the chic simplicity of the fragrance

He has designed the flacon in a gorgeous midnight blue which is reminiscent of the early evening sky, while the pique-textured cap references Lacoste’s iconic polo shirt.

I have worn it both daytime and evening and the perfume certainly suits the later hours more than the earlier ones.

I would be interested to try its predecessor, the Eau de Lacostem so I can be completely Lacoste savvy – well it would be rude not to be.

This has now become my night time perfume of choice and my beloved Hugo Boss Jour Pour Femme is now for daytime only.

EDT 30ml £33, 50ml £45, 90ml £61. Available from Boots and stockists nationwide
