FOR those who love camping Lifeventure’s DriStore Cases are just the job when holidaying under canvas.

Because the great British weather cannot be relied on for constant sunshine, the cases keep maps and gadgets protected come rain or shine.

With an impressive IPX8 rating, I have complete peace of mind that the contents of my case will remain dry in all conditions.

Constructed from tough TPU, the case is ideal for protecting maps and gadgets from mud, water and all the elements which go hand in hand with outdoor life.

Although I have the case suitable for an eReader, there are four different sizes available and are perfect for walking, camping or even keeping your gear safe and dry from day to day.

Featuring a roll-top design, opening and resealing the case is quick and easy, and an ultra-strong Velcro fastening guarantees a secure closure. A fully-adjustable draw-string lanyard allows the case to be stored securely around my neck which is ideal if using one to store maps while trekking.

I shall recommend these cases to my uncle as he loves nothing more than walking in all weathers – and he’s even been on Countryfile as part of a group who measure hills and mountains. At last, I have a claim to fame – and he has far too much time on his hands...

The case also features a high-quality, tactile finish which means I can read my Koboglo sitting in the middle of the field in the pouring rain knowing that although I may be wringing wet, my eReader isn’t.

Prices: phones, £9.99; eReaders, £12.99; tablets, £14.99 and maps, £16.99
