RAMZI Sidani was first Ivanhoe Runner home in the Burton 10 – clocking 1:03:34 for 14th position.
Alistair Chambers was club runner over the line in 34th with a time of 1:07:58.
Kev Wright enjoyed a strong run to finish 49th in 1:11:35. Andy Lindley, returning from illness was 73rd in 1:16:17 – just seconds and two places ahead of Nick Rowles (1:16:33).
Tim Caukwell (1:17:35) was 84th, while Rosie Dear enjoyed a storming run for 89th overall and 11th lady in 1:18:19.
Debutants Nicholas Lee-Smith and Damon Bland clocked 1:19:41 and 1:20:37 respectively. Ruth Green was 149th overall and 27th lady in a time of 1:26:14. Teresa Talbott ran a fine race – after cycling to the start – to finish 174th in 1:29:26.
Fiona McKean (1:29:27) and Karl Savill (1:36:53) completed the Ivanhoe finishers. Gabby Smith ran the first lap, but along with many other runners, was forced to drop out at halfway due to the heat.
FIRST Ivanhoe Runner over the line at the West End Eight was club stalwart and men’s captain Martin Yeomans, who was 100th in 57:13.
Clare Fowell continued her outstanding season to post another PB time after finishing sixth lady in 58:39.
Tim Sturla (59:54) was next club runner home in 130th place, just ahead of Becca Hallam (1:00:00) who was ninth lady.
Phil Stevenson (1:02:52), Karen Bell (1:02:50 ), Mike Sharpe (1:03:01), Ian Kirk (1:03:49, Ingrid Redmond, (1:04:39), Dave Morse (1:04:36), Laura Graves (1:05:06), Karen Harland (1:10:10), Bev Trilloe (1:12:16), Helen Horn (1:16:28), Angela Wheeler (1:16:26), Kelly Finney (1:18:24), Chris Finney (1:18:30) and Julie Henfrey (1:42:57) completed the Ivanhoe contingent.
TRISH McPherson continued her success in the most extreme of events, finishing the Lanzarote Ironman in a superb 15:38:20 for fourth in category.
