Recent cases dealt with at Burton Magistrates’ Court

MARCIN MORCARSKI, 23, of Suffolk Road, Stapenhill.

Admitted driving a Honda Civic, in Station Street, Burton, on June 15, with 81 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

Fined £280, with £85 court costs and a £28 victim surcharge.

Banned from driving for 21 months.

ANDREW SEATON, 43, of Salisbury Avenue, East Leake, Loughborough.

Admitted driving a VW Touareg, in Church Street, Uttoxeter, on June 15, with 73 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

Fined £370, with £85 court costs and a £37 victim surcharge.

Banned from driving for 20 months.

NIGEL SPOWAGE, 53, of The Green, Stretton.

Admitted stealing a bottle of Carva, worth £5.99 from Midland Co-op, in Princess Way, Stretton, on June 2.

Given a 12 month community order, ordered to pay £5.99 compensation, £85 court costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

DARYL KING, 41, of no fixed address.

Two charges of allegedly assaulting Katie Bridgett, in Burton, on May 9 and 24 were discontinued.

CYRIEAN SHAW, 24, of Hazelwood Road, Stapenhill.

Found guilty of damaging a window belonging to Stapenhill Medical Centre, on April 10.

Given a 12 month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £85 compensation, £200 court costs, and a £15 victim surcharge.
