THE National Memorial Arboretum will play host to a popular plant fair next weekend.
The national centre for remembrance, in Alrewas, will be hosting the event from 10am to 4pm on Saturday.
Plant Hunters’ Fairs Martin Blow said: “It’s great to return to the National Memorial Arboretum after such a successful fair in April, when more than 1,000 plant lovers came along to seek out those extra special plants.
“We have a great line up of nurseries, all are real growers, full of enthusiasm and knowledge for their plants.
“The nursery men and women are always happy to offer expert advice to help less experienced gardeners select the right plants for their gardens.
“For hardened plantaholics there are always those little treasures to discover that can’t be obtained elsewhere.
“There will be plants, shrubs and trees to suit every garden from some of the country’s most respected specialist nurseries including RHS Gold Medalists and National Collection Holders. And of course entry to the arboretum and plant fair is completely free.”
