A PE teacher at a South Derbyhire school is taking part in a mammoth charity challenge this weekend.
Ian Clarkson (pictured), who works at Foremarke Hall, Repton Preparatory School, will be taking part in the effort that is looking to set a Guinness World Record by competing in five football matches in five different countries in just 48 hours.
The former Birmingham City captain will be part of the world record attempt to raise money and awareness for Children in Need and Special Olympics Ireland.
"I have ordered an extra lung and a new body so I should be fine" joked the former full-back.
"It's a worthwhile cause as Children In Need is a great charity to support and the chance to be part of a potential World Record is always exciting."
