Residents urged to take on dog mess makers

A COUNCILLOR is urging residents to tell people they see leaving dog mess on the pavements of a Burton suburb that it is a ‘inconvenience’.

Bernard Peters, who represents Brizlincote Valley on East Staffordshire Borough Council, has urged people in the area to tackle inform irresponsible dog owners of the ‘inconvenience and stress’ caused by allowing dogs to foul in public.

A series of special laminated posters have also been put up across the area to warn dog owners to ‘pick up after their pooch’.
