A TELEVISION personality braved the wind and rain as she cycled through Burton as part of a mammoth charity challenge.
Davina McCall, who is known for her wok presenting reality show Big Brother, is undertaking a bid to run, swim and cycle more than 500 miles from Edinburgh to London - entirely under her own steam in a bid to raise cash for Sport Relief.
The 46-year-old swept through the town yesterday down Derby Road before navigating through the centre before exiting via Stapenhill and heading towards Lichfield via Walton on Trent.
She told the Mail: “It was a bad day actually because we’ve really hit a wall, with the wind.
“I was nearly been nearly blown off my bike a couple of times but I just keep thinking about the rest of the country and it’s nothing compared to what some people are going through so I just wanted to get up and go. I’m in the zone.”
