A CHARITY event has raised £100 in aid of cystic fibrosis research.
The event, which took place at Shobnall Leisure Complex, off Shobnall Road, was organised by friends and family of Beth Turner.
MissTurner, of St John's Road, Horninglow, suffers from cystic fibrosis.
The event was put together to raise money and awareness for the condition.
Organisers said 'thank you' to the dozens of people who turned out at the weekend to support the event.
Cystic fibrosis is the UK's most life-threatening inherited disease. It affects a patient's internal organs and thick mucus clogs their lungs. There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis.
