A CHILDREN'S holiday club ended on a high today after three days of fun.
Saint Saviour's Church in Branston runs the summer holiday club every year during the school holidays to keep children busy and promote Christian teachings.
The holiday club was organised by the vicar of the church, Mick Ellor, who enjoys sharing Christian experiences and teachings with children.
Around 40 children attended the club with 15 volunteer helpers and took part in arts and crafts, singing and games - all of which taught Christian principles.
Each day had a different theme, with the final instalment having a 'house upon the rock' theme.
One activity saw children learning about the weather by watching the clouds and thinking about the sunshine and the rain.
All of the days will culminate with the service on Sunday.
The church runs many activities for children during the year and plans to continue running the annual holiday club next year.
