CONCERNS continue to be raised over problems that are being caused by vehicles being sold on public highways in South Derbyshire.
Derbyshire County Council has undertaken several investigations after complaints were again made regarding roads across the area.
The initial issue was raised to see if people were breaking the law by selling cars on the side of the road but it later escalated into fears over driver safety.
The location listed in the complaint was Cadley Hill roundabout, Castle Gresley – Large advertising hoardings and numerous parked cars for sale.
The issue has again been raised at several area forum meetings.
A report by Paul Jameson, forum liaison officer from Derbyshire County Council, said: ““In proving an offence under this part of the act, it is necessary to prove the element of wilfulness in the commission of the offence.”
