THE importance of refuges for wildlife in Burton is to be explored with a three-mile walk.

Burton & District Wildlife Group is hosting a three-mile walk to look at the Kingfisher Trail nature reserve in a different perspective.

People taking part are asked to meet at the Dallow Lock car park on Saturday at 10.30am.

There is flat walking but on some unsurfaced paths, so walkers are asked to dress appropriately.

Admission costs £2 and children go free. All proceeds go to Staffordshire Wildlife Trust.
