THE case of a Burton man had to be adjourned after he brought his child to court.
Dmitrijjs Pinucks was due to be sentenced for assaulting Svetlana Pincuks on March 15 at Burton Magistrates' Court yesterday. However the case was unable to go ahead as Pinucks was unable to leave his child, who became upset when told he would have to wait outside with court staff.
Magistrates were prepared to allow the child to enter court if he remained quiet. However he did not settle down and a decision was made in court to adjourn the delivery of the pre-sentence report until August 22.
