A KEEN cyclist from Burton is hoping pedal power will see him through to fund-raising success as he takes part in his first charity bikeathon.
Simon Stokes, 26, has been training hard for the Birmingham Bikeathon, in September, with the aim of raising money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
"It's my first charity ride, but it won't be the last," the keen cyclist told the Mail.
Mr Stokes is building up to a big event to raise money for Diabetes UK, in memory of his best friend Ashley who died from the condition recently.
