CCTV images of people wanted in connection with a raft of crimes have been released by police chiefs.

Derbyshire Police has revealed pictures of four suspects they want to speak to regarding incidents, ranging from people not paying for petrol to stealing cash.

One of the pictures shows a man who drove onto a petrol forecourt in the area, filled up his car with unleaded fuel and then drove off without paying.

Another features a man who entered the Co-op supermarket, in Overseal, and stole several bottles of wine.

The third picture shows a man entering B&M Homestore, in High Street, Swadlincote, picking up a microwave and leaving without paying.

The fourth image highlights a man stealing cash left behind in a change slot of a self service checkout at Morrisons supermarket, in Swadlincote. A spokesman for Derbyshire Police said: "The identities of those shown below are sought in connection with enquiries into the described alleged offences.

"Images may be of both potential suspects or witnesses.

"Members of the public should not approach anyone who they believe to be displayed in the images but should contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 and give the identity of the person shown, quoting the reference number accompanying the picture."

Section inspector Nigel Lidsey said: "These CCTV images can play a vital part in our investigations to bring these criminals to justice."

Police have released the images in a bid to get people to come forward with information.
