South Derbyshire school technicians go back to the classroom with new experiments

Technicians from John Taylor High School, Pingle and William Allitt joined those at Blessed Robert Sutton School for a series of demonstrations given by Breckland Scientific Supplies.

Micky Chadwick, a science technician at Blessed Robert Sutton School, said: "It was useful and I think all the other technicians enjoyed it.

"We did a variety of experiments including using balloons to measure lung capacity, as well as making lava lamps using vegetable oil."
