BURTON Albion have completed the signing of Wolves winger Zeli Ismail on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old wide man netted the winner in Saturday's crucial 1-0 victory at Morecambe.
It was the final game of his month-long spell at the Pirelli – and Brewers boss Gary Rowett moved fast to net the young flier for the League Two promotion run-in.
Ismail, who has made five appearances for Albion, scoring once and providing three assists, said: “It's great to be able to extend my loan spell until the end of the season.
"I've really enjoyed my football since I've been here and all the lads and staff have made me feel really welcome.
"To get the winner on Saturday was brilliant and the fans have given me a lot of confidence.
"We’ve now got to concentrate on the final third of the season, win as many games as possible and finish as high as we can."
Rowett has long admired the promising winger, who has given the Brewers pace and a direct style down their right side since his arrival.
"He's playing, enjoying it and has done very well for us," said the Albion chief. "He's set three goals up in five game so far and has scored one to win a game.
"He's had a huge effect."
