BURTON Albion’s four-match winning run came to a shuddering halt at the Memorial Stadium with a 3-0 defeat to Bristol Rovers.
The Brewers were far from the side who swept aside Rotherham United, Fleetwood Town, Exeter City and Morecambe as they went seven matches unbeaten.
Goals from Ryan Brunt, John-Joe O’Toole and Eliot Richards handed Gary Rowett’s men a first defeat since January – but with other teams losing around them, Albion are still in third spot in League Two.
