BURTON Albion boss Gary Rowett has been named League Two’s manager of the month for February – with midfielder Jacques Maghoma picking up the player of the month award.
The Brewers won four and drew one in February to lift themselves right into the automatic promotion frame.
They also scored 14 goals along the way as promotion rivals Rotherham United, Fleetwood Town and Exeter City were swept aside.
Rowett said: “Its great to receive recognition for what we achieved in February and, most importantly, it’s testament to the players and their efforts over the period.
“I’m also delighted for Jacques, who fully deserves his accolade after some very impressive displays.”
