TWO of Burton Albion’s academy products — Evan Garnett and Jack Green — have joined Hucknall Town on a three-month loan deal.
Striker Garnett and centre-half Green, both 18, were offered professional
deals with the Brewers after graduating from the scholarship squad at the end of last season.
Garnett, below, appeared in a number of matchday squads throughout the 2011/12 season but is yet to make his professional debut for the club.
Green, a central defender, is also yet to appear for Gary Rowett’s side.
The pair join Evo-Stik League Northern Premier First Division South outfit Hucknall untilDecember 15.
Rowett said: “It’s important now that Evan and Jack go out and get some experience of men’s football.
“Evan had some last year with a loan out to Belper and this will add to that.”
