ENGLAND head coach Stuart Lancaster has wished Burton Rugby Club well for the second half of their campaign.
The Crofters - whose game at the weekend was postponed - are currently fourth in Midlands 1 West, ahead of this weekend’s trip to Berkswell & Balsall.
And Lancaster took time out from preparing for England’s Six Nations campain next month to tell the club: “Good luck for the rest of the season.
“I was doing a talk on coaching and leadership of teams, and the over-riding message was that culture comes before performance.
“So get your team spirit right, get your attitude right to working hard for each other and the team, and you’ll be amazed where it can take you.”
Meanwhile, Burton’s game at home to Stoke has been rearranged again for Saturday, February 9.
Also on this day, the club are hosting an eighties night with the Funky Banana Show Disco returning to Peel Croft.
Other forthcoming events see the annual Beer Festival held between March 1 and 3, before an RFU CPD course from 6.45pm on March 4.
The mini and junior teams will take part in a rugby tour at Condover Hall in Shropshire from April 5 to 7.
Tour booking forms are now available at on the Oxhay whenever the minis are at home or training in order to take bookings and enquiries.
