FORMER Stapenhill boss Mick Curry is back at Edge Hill helping manager Adam Baldwin in a coaching role.
Curry, who has also had a spell as assistant manager at Gresley Rovers, has been helping Baldwin out after Justin Goodchild departed for a loose scouting role with the Moatmen.
And the Swans boss is delighted to have the experienced Curry on board.
He said: "He has that ability of bringing that little bit extra out of players, which showed in last weekʼs performance at Asforby.
"In the two weeks heʼs been involved the change around the place has been amazing.
"His coaching skills are second to none and locally you canʼt get a more experienced and professional person as Mick.
"Iʼm just grateful to him for coming forward and giving his help and support to myself and the club." Stapenhill take on Ashby Ivanhoe in the Leicestershire Senior League Premier Division tomorrow, kick-off 3pm, and Baldwin is expecting a tough game.
He said: "We have a difficult game against a good Ashby side.
"But after last weekʼs performance against Asfordby, albeit they are bottom of the league and struggling, I donʼt see why we canʼt get something from the game." Neil Akers (calf) is out, while Steve Gough is doubtful with a knee problem.
Ben Kelly-Walley and Adam Mewis could miss the match as both have flu, but Orran Lovelock is available again.
SWANS FROM: Beeston, Blades, Brown, Kelly-Walley, Chadfield, Davies, Furniss, Davies, D Lonergan, Stephenson, McCombe, M Lonergan, Cobley, Mewis, Harris, Lovelock.
