Written bySTEVE NICHOLSON

DERBY County fans have taken to Twitter to welcome the ticket pricing for the plum FA Cup third-round tie against Premier League giants Chelsea.

The Rams face Jose Mourinho’s title-challenging Blues at the iPro Stadium on Sunday, January 5, kick off 2.15pm.

The game will be screened live on BT Sport, but a sell-out is still expected.

Ticket prices have been agreed between the two clubs, and prices for season ticket holders and half-season tickets holders are: adults £19, senior citizens £14, under-18s £11 and under12s £8.

Non-season ticket holders will pay £25 (adults), £18 (senior citizens), £14 (under-18s) and £10 (under-12s).

Derby say season ticket holders are entitled to the cheapest possible prices for the game as a thank you for their continued loyalty and support throughout the season so far.

Season ticket holders can purchase online from 00.01am tomorrow through to midnight next Friday and via telephone and box office during opening hours in this period.

Membership holders who are not season ticket holders will also be able to purchase one ticket for an unreserved seat, at a non-discounted price during the same period.

Subject to availability, season ticket holders will be able to purchase one additional ticket for non-season ticket holders at the non-discounted price from 00.01am on Friday, December 20 to midnight on Sunday, December 22.

Any remaining seats will be made available at the non-discounted rate for general sale online from 00.01am on Monday, December 23.
