QUEEN'S Park Rangers have continued their clear-out following relegation from the Premier League by loaning out midfield star Esteban Granero.
The 26-year-old – who made 24 appearances last season for Rangers – has returned to his homeland to join Real Sociedad.
QPR boss Harry Redknapp is on the verge of signing England star Scott Parker to play in central midfield, with a £3 million deal set to be completed as soon as today.
Elsewhere in the Premier League, Aston Villa striker Darren Bent is due to sign a season-long loan at Fulham, ending what has been a nightmare few months at Villa Park.
And Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger still wants more signings to help the Gunners go for a Champions League spot.
"I cannot certify what the number of players coming in will, but we will be active until the end, that is for sure," he said yesterday.
The Arsenal manager has moved fringe players on this summer, with Marouane Chamakh, Gervinho, Andrey Arshavin, Denilson and Andre Santos leaving the Emirates.
Liverpool star Luiz Suarez remains his number one choice, while the Gunners also missed out on Real Madrid man Gonzalo Higuain.
