GRESLEY manager Martin Rowe has called for his side to be more clinical in front of goal.
Struggling Market Drayton visit the Moat Ground tomorrow, kick-off 3pm, having conceded more than any other side in Evo-Stik First Division South.
Rowe said: “We really need to put the chances away that we have been creating.
“For the majority of the season we’ve not taken our chances and not killed teams off.”
Market Drayton leak goals at an average rate of exactly three a game, but Rowe is refusing to take today’s visitors lightly.
He said: “There are no easy games in this league. Anyone can beat anyone else on their day.
“But we are quite confident we can gain the three points – and we need to.
“We should have beaten Brigg (on Saturday) and if it wasn’t for two mistakes we would have won against Coalville Town (on Boxing Day).
“We need to push hard and get a run going.”
Jamie Barrett (dead leg) and John Guy (hip) are out for today’s game, but Rowe can call upon the services of returning duo Mitch Hanson and Marc Strzyzewski.
“We’ve two quality players out, but luckily have two quality players available,” said the Moat boss.
“Sometimes last year we had to play a certain way because of the personnel we had.
“This year we have a more flexible team, so we can change our formation – and whichever formation we use we seem to do well.”
