Chilver and Sbarra at the double for Albion victory

DOUBLES from Sam Chilvers and Joe Sbarra enabled Whittington Albion to get the better of a 4-3 encounter against lowly St Georges in the MARLEY ETERNIT UNDER 14 Division One.

Owen Judd, Keiron Marston and Connor Adams all found the target as Newhall Tigers mauled Woodville Rangers 3-0, while a single goal proved decisive as Ammington Diamonds defeated fellow strugglers Rolleston 1-0.

MFSS UNDER 14 Division Two leaders Uttoxoter opened up a four-point lead at the top of the table after their two closest rival,s Alrewas Colts and Stapenhill Swans, shared six goals in a 3-3 draw.

Henry Hymas, Lewis Hodson and Jack Scallon shared Uttoxoter’s goals in a 5-0 defeat of Stretton Eagles.

Visiting Hilton Black Sox were swept aside 4-0 as Henry Fox, Joe Kendrick, Niall Sankey and Sam Waltho all hit the target for Tutbury Keys.

Struggling Measham Pumas suffered a 7-0 mauling at Branston, whose total included doubles from Stan Boothby and Luke Greenall.

Joseph Lawman’s hat-trick and a single from Charlie Brook ensured that Doveridge were comfortable 4-0 victors against Newhall Lions.

Substitute Spencer Green scored the decisive goal as Edge Hill moved up from fourth to second in the ARRIVA MIDLANDS UNDER 13 Division One following a 1-0 defeat of visiting Marlborough Rovers.

Both Rolleston Diamonds and Ammington Diamonds failed to sparkle after suffering 6-3 and 3-1 home defeats against Winshill Green and Barton Rovers Vikings respectively.

Leaders Branston moved 12 points clear of the chasing pack after demolishing Newhall Lions 15-1.

The visitors went goal crazy as Reece Davies, Tom Duddy, John Palmer and Kyro Sharp all plundered hat-tricks, while Sean Bennett registered the Lions’ consolation.

In the BJFL UNDER 13 Division Two, leaders Belvedere Blue overcame their closest rivals Hilton Rhinos 6-4 in an entertaining contest.

Although Lewis Noble (2) Jamie Chan and Jacob Hope all netted for the Rhinos, their efforts went unrewarded as the visitors replied through Melad Mohammed’s hat-trick, Ben Golding’s brace and a solitary effort from Dante Edwards.

Connor Lambert (2) and Sam Minshull scored to enable third-placed Belvedere Red to edge out St Georges 3-2.

Tom Allpinwas was on target for Marlborough Yellow in a 1-1 draw against visiting Woodville Rangers, whose goal came courtesy of substitute Lewis Lunn.

Visiting TS Sports returned from Hilton Lions with maximum points with a 2-0 verdict, supplied by Ashley Morris and Rhys Dickinson.

Callum Parker headed a list of seven different scorers as Winshill Yellow swept aside bottom club Mayfield Panthers 10-1.
